“[Dana Boussard’s] work unites diverse people with a single vision, makes them see how a place comes together, fuses their sense of history, memory and environment.” –Clay Morgan, Pacific Northwest Magazine
Each of Dana Boussard’s numerous commissioned textiles is born, not out of a singular concept, but from her sentiment about the connection that we as people have with each other and with our environment. Through a combination of craftsmanship, and poetry her works elevate their surroundings. Each artwork she creates subsequently speaks to the individual space, and those who use it, binding historical narrative and the artist’s personal vision.
